Background

My Name is Michael Storch and I am the founder of Ruse Motors Ltd.  I established the company in 2001 to provide a personal service, offering my qualifications and experience in the motor trade over the last 23 years. Whether you are in the local community or from afar, give me a call or send an email with your enquiry. 

Ruse - Origin of the name is a culmination of my daughters names, Ruby and Rose, the meaning is to Re-Use cars, Maintenance, Proactive Maintenance and also to make make people aware of their consumer rights, regarding, used car sales, repairs. I have passion for cars/engineering and its a shame the majority of the public are not aware of their legal rights when it  comes to these matters and more often having the wool pulled over their eyes. I strive for an honest living and to be a voice to assist the public in being prepaired for these unknown situations.

I moved to Coventry when I turned 18 in 1998 and studied at Coventry University until 2002 achieving a HND in Automotive Engineering and BEng 2nd degree in Automotive Technology.  I worked for Arrow Engineering Ltd. at the Peugeot Ryton plant on a maintenance contract for PSA from 2002-2003 refurbishing and servicing welding guns.  In 2003 I began working for Ontime Autotmotive in Wellsbourne in vehicle movements and as a PDI Technician, working on Mercedes Benz vehicles.  Here I gained my Level 3 City and Guilds Qualifications in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs.

From 2006 to June 2021 I worked in partnership setting up and managing DS Motorsport Uk Ltd. In Coventry. Our Services included; General servicing and repairs, Track car hire, On event motorsport support - HRDC, HSCC, CSCC, Equippe GTS 3 hour, Birkettt 6 hour Relay, Caterham academy, Driver tuition, Race car builds, maintenance and Vehicle Restorations. Vehicles ranging from the 50's to present.

Since Establishing the company in 2021, I have continued to grow my customer base and have also been welcoming old customers back. Having the workshop rebuilt in 2025 was a slight setback. However the new workshop with epoxy resin floor is a great environment for your vehicle to be serviced and maintained. I pride myself in cleanliness, attention to detail and treating all customers the same.
